Production Process

The entire production cycle is managed through management software, custom-developed to ensure efficiency, complete traceability and control at every stage of the process, from raw material to finished product.

PREPARATION

Accurate scrap preparation through strict verification and control procedures that are applied throughout the entire work cycle.

MELTING

First melting of the scrap, in an electric furnace (EAF) with a capacity of 85 Tons, which initiates primary metallurgy.

EAF Refining

Allows phosphorus and carbon levels to be lowered.

LF Refining

Enables, through the addition of the necessary ferroalloys, the final analysis required by the customer and the attainment of the ideal temperature before degassing.

Degassing

A degassing plant with a capacity of 85 Tons that allows the quantities of gases such as hydrogen and nitrogen, which are naturally present in the steel bath, to be reduced to the lowest levels.

CASTING

Source ingot casting line, cast on fixed 1-2-3-4-6-way stations in round, square and polygonal ingot sections.

Heat Treatment

Battery of furnaces, both fixed and mobile, giving the possibility of carrying out all the necessary heat treatments that the various types of steel require and according to the specific requirements.

Cutting

A cutting machine, with a cutting capacity of up to 2,000 mm, capable of being able to supply even headed ingots or alternatively cut to the required size.
